What is frotting?

Frotting, also known as dry humping or dry sex, is a sexual activity involving two people rubbing their genitals against each other (typically clothed) to achieve sexual pleasure. It is typically done by two people of the same sex and does not involve penetration.

Frotting can be a pleasurable activity for both partners and can be used as part of foreplay leading up to intercourse. Many couples find it pleasurable because it allows them to express their sexual feelings without having to worry about pregnancy or the risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Some couples may even use frotting as an alternative to penetrative sex.

More about frotting

Frotting is often done through direct genital-to-genital contact, though some couples may also incorporate other body parts such as the hips, thighs or chests during the activity. In order to make this kind of contact more comfortable and pleasurable for both partners involved, some people might opt for using lubricating substances such as oils or creams on their skin prior to frotting.

In general, it's important that both partners communicate with each other throughout the entire experience in order to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and safe while engaging in frotting activities. Additionally, being aware of one’s own boundaries and respecting those boundaries are key components in having an enjoyable experience while frotting with a partner.

Frotting is a fun and exciting way for many couples to share intimate moments together without engaging in any form of penetration - making it an ideal way for many individuals looking for safe options when it comes to exploring physical intimacy with someone else.
