910Rope with Chris Mattress and Sir Fin

Class Description

For this rope class we will be teaching the futomomo (leg binder). The futomomo starts with a single column tie so we will be going over that for you to be able to accomplish this leg binder. You do not need a partner to learn this tie because we will be teaching you how to tie it on yourself. We will be sitting on the floor to accomplish this tie so yoga mats are recommended, but not necessary. 

If time permits we will also teach a simple decorative tie and a basic chest harness. We have mannequins on hand for you to learn a chest harness. The goal of this rope class is to teach you the foundations of rope bondage to get you on the right path to learn a more advanced style of rope art.

There will be two teachers on hand so that we can give more one on one attention to the attendees. 

About the Instructors

Chris Mattress

Chris started with rope in early 2015 at Lair De Sade's Wednesday night class and began volunteering at Club Awakening teaching basic rope bondage in late 2017. He has a passion for showing people how rope play works.

Sir Fin

Fin began his rope bondage journey in 2006 (before Google was a thing and before YouTube even existed) the same way as everyone else in those days: Learning everything on the playground. 

Today, after extensive training, many photo shoots and public performances, and several professional credits including a 10 page spread in Hustlers Taboo magazine, Fin loves teaching kinbaku almost as much as he loves doing it.

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT!!!

Even though 910 is taking every precaution to make sure that this event is safe and in compliance with CDC codes, please understand that public gatherings, even socially distanced ones, involve a higher risk than virtual encounters.

910 will only be allowing vaccinated guests to attend this in-person event! Please bring proof of your vaccination by showing us your completed vaccination card at the door! If you show up and cannot provide proof of your full vaccination, you will be turned away with no refund. Please do not purchase a ticket for this event if you are not fully vaccinated. Thank you!

• Call Outs/Refunds: Refunds will be given in full to guests who call out sick before arriving to the event. Guests who arrive ill may qualify for a partial refund. No refunds will be provided on site if an individual does not comply with these policies or shows up unvaccinated.
• Hand Sanitizer Use: We kindly encourage all guests to use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting our facility. For your safety and convenience, sanitizer is available throughout the premises.
• Occupancy Guidelines Upholding CDC Guidelines: Our occupancy limits will reflect current CDC occupancy policies so that everyone is as safe as possible while enjoying this event!

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets cost $30 each! In-person tickets are first come, first serve and are non-transferable: they must match the name on our guest list at the door.

When do the doors open?

Guests will be allowed to start entering the facility after 7:30PM. Parking is easier the earlier you arrive! THE DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 9:30pm WITHOUT EXCEPTION! ARRIVING LATE DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO A REFUND!

Will there be food and beverage available?

Yes, snacks and beverages are complimentary!

Where can I park?

There is street parking, meter parking, and even parking structures within walking distance. We recommend using the residential side streets for free parking, as there are many near our building. REFUND POLICY!

910 WeHo will refund the cost of your ticket (not the eventbrite fee) if the refund is requested up to 12 hours before the start of the event or class. Once the event or class has begun, 910 WeHo does not guarantee refunds, although you may still request a refund and we may choose to grant it at our discretion.
