This month, I'll be out of the country for the Open-House Social, so Alex and Diana are hosting in my stead. Same great space, same great time. So, head on over and as it's a pot-luck, bring something to share. Some light snacks and finger foods will be provided.
Since it's an open house, you can arrive whenever you choose, hang out for as long as you like, and leave as early or as late as you want. Most of the house will be Level 1, where you can hang out, converse, play games, socialize… whatever. There's a level 2 cuddle space in the front bedroom upstairs, and if 20 or more people register by noon the day of, a larger cuddle space will open on the first floor.
It's getting a bit chilly to hang out on the front porch, but if you do (and someone always does) please keep the noise levels down after 10 PM, out of respect for our neighbors.
This event is open to the general public.
This event is a great opportunity to introduce friends to SPP, so feel free to bring guests. Please remember that you’re responsible for them the entire evening and for sharing with them our SPP culture around consent and boundaries.
There is limited parking on the street. If at all possible, please carpool to this event. Or you can park in the Fred Meyer's parking lot on NE Glisan and 65th, 5 blocks away. My house is close to all types of transit with major bus lines within a block or two on Burnside, Glisan and 60th, and 3 different MAX lines stop at the 60th Street Station, 5 blocks away.
Unfortunately, the house doesn't have great accessibility, as there are two sets of sets coming up from the sidewalk, totaling about 10 steps. There are also 2 sets of stairs inside this 3-story house.
This is a mask-optional event for folks who have been vaccinated and boosted.
We're really looking forward to seeing you. So come on over, hang out and have fun! I'll miss all you guy and look forward to seeing you next month.
