LGBTQIA+ and friends welcomed
LGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity. These include lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, non-binary, genderqueer/fluid, queer, intersex, asexual, aromantic, agender and other non-mainstream identifying folx not mentioned.
“Friends” are people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respect needs of and boundaries of a queer safe space. They recognize the necessity of these spaces and support them.
“Friends” to LGBTQIA+ folx show, acknowledge and are respectful of everyone’s self-expression.
“Friends” do not assume, presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others.
“Friends” actively request and use people’s chosen pronouns.
“Friends” have a genuine concern for the well-being of LGBTQIA+ folx and are aware of heterosexual and cisgender privileges.
We don’t have to be perfect. None of us are. Oblige simply asks that attendees stay open minded, act pro-actively, and strive to be good friends and allies to marginalized people.
Hope to see you in the chat. Be safe and stay kinky.
