Community Manager

Bay Area or Remote

Bloom is hiring a community manager who would be responsible for managing Bloom’s in-person community events. Bloom has events in more than 10 cities, from ENM Socials to Queer Mixers to Board Game Nights. This role includes recruiting, hiring, and managing Bloom’s Community Ambassadors who individually run each event. This role also involves inventing new event formats and successfully marketing these events in partnership with the Community Ambassadors. We're looking for someone who would love working with alternative communities of all kinds, and is excited about joining a wild startup adventure. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a knack for social connections, and a passion for community building. You should be familiar with excel and basic analytics or excited to learn. Our team is 100% self-starters, problem solvers, and low egos.

Candidates can live anywhere; our team works primarily on Pacific Time. Bay Area-based teammates work from our Oakland office 2-3 days per week. This is a 20 hrs/week contract position, with potential conversion to full-time.

Growth and Marketing Manager

Bloom is hiring a Growth and Marketing Manager who would be responsible for managing marketing for all of Bloom’s events. Bloom has community events in more than 10 cities, from ENM Socials to Queer Mixers to Board Game Nights, as well as online sex education events. This role includes developing Bloom’s brand and channel strategy, and successfully executing and iterating on our marketing approach. We're looking for someone who is excited about sharing Bloom with the world and has experience marketing across a variety of channels. Candidates should have a strong eye for brand and visual design as well as the ability to successfully set up data-based campaigns and analyze results. Experience with one or more of the following required: Google SEM, Facebook and Instagram ads, social media/influencer marketing, partnership marketing, and SEO. Our team is 100% self-starters, problem solvers, and low egos.
