BOUND; A Celebration of Bondage

BOUND isn’t another quiet night of rope, it’s a celebration of bondage in all forms. Come play, share, collaborate, and socialize in a space that is designed to promote inclusion and strengthen the idea of what our community is about. We welcome all genders* , ages* *, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, body types, and roles. With multiple hardpoints and themed rooms, the only things you need to bring are your toys, your imagination, and your love of bondage.

The tight bite of rope, the heady smell of leather, the cold touch of a chain; we each have our own favorite way to share the experience of bondage. What’s yours?

* Bound is a queer-inclusive, trans-inclusive event. While we are required to check ID & vaccination records at the door (see below), you will have the opportunity to write your own name tag at the entry desk. Staff will not refer to you by the name on your ID unless it's the one you've specified.

* * Attendees must be 18 or older. All attendees must show the doorperson a valid government-issued ID or current Threshold membership card to satisfy the venue's legal requirements.

**Accessibility**

Threshold LA is wheelchair accessible - The entrance door opens out but there is a call button and CCTV camera.There is a manageable 1” bump at the entrance. Bathroom stalls are NOT ADA compliant. Plans are to upgrade stalls soon

**COVID & Community Health Requirements**

* Threshold events require attendees to be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine.

* Please plan to show proof at the door - a photograph or digital copy of your vaccination card is sufficient. In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: ±

* * 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or

* * 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

* * If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/faq.html

* All attendees are required to wear masks while indoors

* Consuming food and drink is only allowed in designated areas

* Attendees are required to clean and disinfect any equipment or furniture used in play

* People who appear intoxicated may be asked to leave

Devil Mask Society is an anarchist rope collective based in Los Angeles, CA. We work to make the study of Japanese-inspired rope bondage more accessible, equitable, and fun.
