A monthly space for reverence, ritual + release in honoring cycles of grief with Self Study x Duality Heart Work
This event will take place at The Rope Collective Studio in Barrio Logan, San Diego.
EVENT DETAILS:
During this 90 minute gathering we will explore trauma-informed communication, consensual touch, non-sexual intimacy, and nourishing connection in a ceremony designed to honor cycles of grief. The facilitators will guide you through a ceremony of rituals to hold space for release.
Grief cycles exist across all layers of life and impact our body-mind-heart-soul in many ways. Whether its transitions of life, identity, platonic/intimate relationship, job, or beliefs, your grief deserves a space to be honored, witnessed, nourished, and transformed.
Join us for a communal connection and a space to allow yourself to be supported just as you need to as we open a container for moving with rituals as we move through what may be weighing on or has been heavy inside of you.
We will share rituals for release and hold space for a variety of options to do this in your own way with talk, touch, herbal plant medicine, and peer connectivity. No experience needed, this event is accessible at all levels.
Facilitated by Healing + Intimacy Artist, Facilitator + educator euniand Herbalist + Birthworker Carmen Mason of Duality Heart Work
*Note: To expand a sense of safety and create a container that can allow all people to explore more fluidly, it's requested for you to arrive (15) minutes before the event's start time so that we can ground into the space, review community agreements, and co-create safety + connection in shared space.
RECOMMENDED ITEMS TO BRING:
Wear clothing that allows you to feel comfortable, empowered or expressive. This is not a play party and all guests will be encouraged to come in clothing that comfortable and/or expressive in ways that feel good to them but required to keep under garments on and pelvic area covered. We suggest something that you might wear to move freely without feeling restricted. Separate top and bottom that allows you to expose legs, arms, and belly may feel good for the interactive portions of this workshop but is optional.
Please bring anything else that allows you to feel comfortable and we ask that you limit usage of strong perfumes/aromas to support a variety of sensory needs. Here's a list of items we use throughout most of our events, classes + workshops that will support your experience.
• mat/blanket
• jacket/sweater + layers for varying comfort needs and temperatures
• notepad /pen
• water + snacks
*We will have mats, blankets, pillows, snacks + NA beverages and items for sale through our shop.
