PLAY AS EMPOWERMENT, facilitated by Ahran Lee, welcomes folks who identify as global majority individuals (aka BIPOC) to experience the joy of play as a radical form of resistance.
In PLAY AS EMPOWERMENT, participants can expect to learn foundational improv skills and how to use play as a radical form of resistance in real time. No prior improv experience necessary. Just show up as your authentic, imperfect, playful self!
You can sign up for the month-long series or for individual classes. If our rate is a hardship for you, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll work it out. We want you to join us.*
