Sex & Trauma: Navigating the Challenges while creating Safety and Intimacy

How do we experience fulfilling sex and intimacy when we suffer from sexual abuse and associated traumas?

This workshop dives deeply into this much needed topic. 

It will give partners of those who suffer from abuse tools they can use to recognize when their significant other is pulling away, shutting down or dissociating as well as tools for how to help and be supportive. 

Those who suffer from trauma will be given insights and tools for how to create safety, communicate their needs effectively, have more engaging and fulfilling sex lives, and overcome their traumas. 

All will be given techniques for how to create a deeply intimate and sensual love life that meets the safety and intimacy needs of both partners. 

All relationship styles from monogamy to polyamory can participate. This is an LGBTQ friendly event. This is a fully clothed event. Partner contact is not required. Come alone or with a friend, lover or partner. Also, come sober. All genders and gender identities are welcome. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Space is limited to 25.

Katerina Phoenix, the lead facilitator, has expereinced and overcome multiple forms of sexual, physical, mental and emotional trauma and abuse. They are a bodyworker for trauma healing and sexual awakening as well as a life, gender and relationship coach who helps people fully embrace their power and uniqueness.
