Sexy Intersections: Anti-Racism and Sex Positivity Class

Intersectional Anti-Racism and Sex Positivity: Navigating Difference in Play Spaces

This anti-racism class helps folks think about the many power dynamics that affect us when we interact in a community. It’s a good space for beginners who are eager to learn. We’ll think about our many identities and how they shape our expertise, and the areas where we need to learn and grow. We’ll spend some time talking about the inevitable mistakes we make and the ways we hurt each other, and walk through the protocol we’ll use for those hard times when we’ve done things that don’t align with our values. We’ll center race while also addressing intersectionality; and encourage folks to work on perspective-taking from our privileges as well as our oppressions.
