This event will be offered only at the Wicked Grounds Annex in San Francisco. No online tickets will be available.
Latex fans, join your community for a rubber sewing circle! We'll meet to share and learn latex repair and maintenance techniques. The goal is to lower our collective anxiety around owning latex garments. Bring your damaged gear, and get advice from others about how to repair, and maintain it! Some supplies will be available on-site, but feel free to bring tools and supplies as well. Hands-on demonstrations are also available. Next time you tear that nice custom catsuit, you won't have to send it overseas for repair and be without it for weeks! Learn not just how to fix it, but where to get your materials, and build your latex repair kit! This will start off as a general discussion of techniques, and a Q&A, and then become a working session.
Smash Wox, AKA ScoutFox has been a latex fetishist in the bay area for 20 years. First seen as the leather armored wolf with a latex undersuit at countless pride parades, and Folsom street events, and later as a bright red latex fox, and now a copper latex fox. He has learned a lot by maintaining dozens of iterations of his latex alter ego and desires to share knowledge with the community in an effort to reduce anxiety among other latex owners.
$10 - $35 in advance or at the door. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.
We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $20. This is what most people should pay.
The $10 ticket is offered for those for whom the $20 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $20 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $10.
Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
In SF, this class will be held in the Wicked Grounds Annex. Please note that stairs at the front door are the only means of ingress and egress to the space. While proof of COVID vaccination and masking are both appreciated for all participants, we are no longer requiring them for in person attendance. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the class start time for check in; late check-ins may require you to have your ticketing verified next door at Wicked Grounds Café & Boutique before entry.
Please do not attend in person if you have any respiratory symptoms whatsoever. Anyone displaying signs of respiratory symptoms may be asked to leave, regardless of vaccination status.
