Module 3/6 of the Simply Tie series. You can take this class independently, without any attendance of prior classes required.
We will be focusing on a few minimalistic ties, and what we could do with them. In this class, we will cover:
We have loaner ropes if you don't have your own ropes yet. We will also provide yoga mats to tie on, snacks, and water.
Date: 13th Feb 2024 (Tuesday)
(You will receive the exact address in your confirmation email)
The house will provide jutes for everyone to use. However, it is strongly advised to bring your ropes.
There are self-tie options for all the exercises. But it would be best if you have a rope bottom to practice with. If you are a switch, pair up with your switch-y friends! You learn the most if you could experience both sides!
For Riggers: Anything you feel the most comfortable in. You will feel
warmer than your bottom, so don't put too many layers on!
For bottoms: Tighter clothes are the best. For example tank tops and yoga pants. If you wear bras, please remember to take them off or wear wireless bras for upper body ties.
No. This class will be a groundwork focus.
Simply Tie offers a series of in-person beginner shibari classes. We concentrate on fundamental knots, frictions, rope handling skills, and playing with them safely.
You may pick and mix your classes and only attend those you are interested in.
