SoulPlay Festivals is proud and excited to offer a new event: SoulPlay BIPOC CONNECT: Center YourSelf!

Heard about SoulPlay but never been able to make it? Curious if it will be a welcoming space for you as a member of the BIPOC community?

Already a part of the SoulPlay family and are super excited that we are creating nurturing spaces in our community to unapologetically celebrate shared identity and culture?

Either way, know that we created this event for you! Delve in and have a yummy SoulPlay good time celebrating the unique wonderfulness that is the BIPOC/ People of The Global Majority community. Dance your buns off, participate in heart opening connection or just sip tea and cuddle up with someone who shares your desire to be fully present with themselves - and you.

What Can You Expect at SoulPlay BIPOC CONNECT: Center Yourself?

Our goal is to create an environment that invites all Black, Indigenous, Melanated Peoples (People of Color) to be centered, honored and restored for the gifts we bring to the world and the labor we do to SHOW UP in spaces without privilege. Come recharge, connect and remember the legacy of our inherent beauty. Experience empathetic ‘unity without uniformity’ while mutually supporting others on a deeper level in this community ritual. We’ll have activities to open your heart, music to get you moving, a sauna to help you melt it all away, and a tea sharing space to create a sweet connection with yourself or someone else.

We believe in acceptance, curiosity, intimacy, playfulness, consent, and authenticity at SoulPlay. These values form the foundation of our event philosophy and guide us as we create events that bring people together in meaningful ways. We strive to ensure that every interaction at BIPOC Connect—short or long—is based on these values so that each person can feel supported and free to express themselves without judgment or fear.

In support of this, note that this event is an alcohol and substance free event. It's an opportunity to practice being present, while connecting in community.

Come join the BIPOC leaders, presenters, movers and groovers and see what the SoulPlay hype is all about.

Tickets - Sliding scale $30-$40 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

See you there!
