Happy August :) Hope folks had fun at Dore Alley and the other amazing events of late! For those of you looking ahead to Folsom, we are starting to build out a calendar of events for our friends at Folsom Street Fair. Would love to see your additions & ideas! 

We wanted to start this week's newsletter with a little PSA about monkeypox. As the San Francisco AIDS Foundation stated, Monkeypox is circulating in our community, and we want to make sure you have the info you need about what’s going on. We also some exciting news for you all: We started working with organizer partners in Portland & Seattle, and we're on the lookout for more! If you or anyone you know is based in the area and has ideas, please email events@joinbloom.community. 

BLOOM SPOTLIGHT: Portland Partners

She Bop is a woman-owned sex toy boutique in Portland, OR. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to sex education or pleasure. Sexual empowerment is for EVERY BODY. She Bop fosters an affirming, inclusive space where everyone can be themselves. All bodies are celebrated here. 

Club Privata is a members-only, upscale lifestyle club. Our goal is to provide a fun, sexy, safe experience. Club Privata welcomes and honors everyone's identity and has a range of events including an Erotic Art Show, Newbie's Night, and Fishnet Friday. 

BLOOM SPOTLIGHT: Seattle Calendar

Bloom Community has partnered with The Center for Sex-Positive Culture to produce the Seattle Community Events Calendar to aggregate queer, sex-positive, and edge-of-culture community events in the Greater Seattle area. We invite our community members to add your events to the calendar and share among your friends and followers.
